This method is usually applied in correcting of structured and the non-structured defects. This is because it is cost effective, fast and efficient. You should also note that leaking water pipes that cannot hold water anymore would require non-structural repairs to prevent the soil around the drain from being washed away. Urgency should therefore be put in such tasks to avoid total collapse of the drain.

The holes and cracks on pipes are sealed using a chemical grouting or localized liners for patching to reduce future failures. For structural repairs that involved serious defects that call for replacement of this drains, a higher soft lining technique will be used. The liner is mixed with polyester resin followed by an insertion in the drain.

Once the liner is intact, pressure or water will be used to invert it then it will be left to cure. Installing and curing can be a one day's work though based on the type of rein being used and the installation temperature, the curing is bound to take a longer or shorter time. Low temperatures make the curing process to take longer.
